Cambusbarron Community Centre located in St. Ninians Road, Cambusbarron and facilities all forms of social activities activities
From the " Mother and Toddlers" group to the "Over Sixties" Club the Centre caters for them all providing a focal point for the community. Being well constructed, and meeting all safety requirements, the Centre offers excellent accommodation for small conferences, meetings, discussion groups, parties and dances all of which can be held in one of the two main halls within the Centre.
The
Grierson Hall (shown on left) is a well decorated hall and
provides the ideal location for the most formal or informal meeting or
display as well as any type of private or public function. Basic
catering facilities are available within the centre with a small
kitchen adjacent to this hall.
The
largest Hall within the centre affords many groups with the opportunity to
participate in various sporting activities
such as five-a-side football, indoor hockey, badminton, indoor bowls
and karate, to mention only a few. This excellent hall is ideal for the
larger presentation or function which requires that little bit more
room.
There are other smaller rooms available for the less informal meeting, or discussion group All rooms can be furnished as required with tables chairs and crockery etc. A sound system , Video/ Television unit or large projection screen are available for use if required. Arrangements can be made to provide other equipment if necessary.
